[ Music ]>>In this segment, we will watch Dena administer number naming. As you watch this assessment, notice as Dena politely but firmly teaches the child to follow her directions. To wait when it’s the examiner’s turn and to respond when it’s the child’s turn. Listen carefully to the child’s responses and notice how Dena simultaneously records the child’s responses as she goes.>>I’m going to look at some numbers and name them. Watch what I do. Three, one, twelve. Look at this, if you see two numbers together, say the whole number. This is the number 12. Now you name these numbers.>>Three.>>Good.>>One. Twelve.>>Good. Now I’m going to show you some more numbers. You name each number. Ready?>>Three, six, five, two, nine, fifteen, sixteen, eight, eighteen, seven, twenty-one, one. Thirty, four. Three, forty, [inaudible], sixteen, ten, zero, seven, two.>>Good job.>>Carefully follow the instructions on the score sheet when calculating the child’s fluency score. [ Music ]
