The Alphabet and the Spelling Habit| English Class | A1 (Unit 7)


Hi, I’m Del
and I’m one of your ABA teachers. I hope you enjoyed the ABA Film. Do you feel you need
more practice with the English alphabet? Well, that’s perfect,
because in this video class you will learn about the alphabet and how to spell. The English alphabet has 26 letters. Let’s look at them: A, B, C, D, E, F G, H, I , J, K, L, M N, O, P, Q, R, S, T U, V, W, X, Y, Z. That was OK, right? Now, let’s practice how to spell
some of the words from the ABA Film. For example, “welcome”
w-e-l-c-o-m-e. hotel
h-o-t-e-l and the word “receptionist”
r-e-c-e-p-t-i-o-n-i-s-t. And now, how about spelling words
which include double letters? Well, that’s easy. We simply say the word “double” plus the letter. Here are some examples. good morning
g-double o-d m-o-r-n-i-n-g The word “address”
