This Week on Xbox | The Division 2, New Backward Compatibility & More!

[MUSIC]>>Hello, and welcome
to This Week on Xbox. I’m Larry Hryb, Xbox
Live’s Major Nelson. We’ve got some exciting headlines this week but don’t forget
to stick around for the end when we unbox the collector’s edition box for
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. Plus, we just aired
a whole new Inside Xbox. If you want the in-depth news about the Halo: Master Chief Collection, Minecraft on Xbox Game Pass, and much more, be sure
to check that out. Now, let’s kick things off
with this week’s headlines. Get ready to shoot and grab the loot. The Division 2 is
launching March 15th. Here’s what you need to know. [XBOX SOUND]>>You will need to
set up the White House as your base of operations. [MUSIC]>>Recruit staff to help
you craft new gear, experiment with new skills, and calibrate your equipment to optimize your performance
on the field. [MUSIC]>>From here, you will
be able to coordinate main missions in key locations to weaken enemy factions and reclaim the city as you progress
through the campaign. [MUSIC]>>Don’t forget, stick around
to the end of the show when we take a look inside
the collector’s edition box. If you need more behind the scenes, just look back at
our previous episodes when I sat down with
Ubisoft’s senior producer, Tony Sturtzel, and creative director, Terry Spier, to chat about
the changes for the Dark Zone.>>We’re creating a fair experience
yet retaining that intensity. Then, of course, we provide
the Occupied Dark Zones for the people that really want
to get their blood pumping.>>Plus, Chandler Riggs
and his girlfriend, Haleigh Hekking, dropped by
Xbox sessions to play the game. Tell us about his time as Carl on
AMC’s The Walking Dead and more.>>What would you say
is scarier, these robo-dogs that you’re seeing in game or the zombies
in The Walking Dead?>>Oh dude, definitely
these robo-dog.>>They’re crazy.>>I think this is terrifying. [MUSIC]>>Join Monkey D. Luffy
and the Straw Hat Pirates in One Piece: World Seeker
beginning March 15th. You’ll get to experience
the powers of the legendary gum
gum fruit and unlock new skills by gathering points to upgrade and enhance
Luffy’s abilities. You’ll need those creative
fighting skills to take on some of the well-known enemies
from the One Piece series. The game features original character
designs by the series creator and is Xbox One X Enhanced to
make sure they looked amazing. [MUSIC]>>Devil May Cry 5 just
came out and we’ve already got information about
the next content update. This is breaking news this morning. Bloody Palace is a game mode
where you fight through multiple levels of enemies to
make it to the final area. This is a free update
for all owners of the game and will be
available April 1st. We’ll keep you up-to-date with announcements as they
become available. [MUSIC]>>We got our hands on the official launch trailer
for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. This action adventure set in brutal late 16th century Japan comes from the creators of the
Bloodborne and Dark Souls series. Players will need to
hone their sword play, this isn’t just a hack-and-slash. If you want to come out on top, you’ll need to perfect your timings, attacks, and especially blocks. Pro tip, it will pay to use stealth
and eavesdrop on your enemies. They may reveal item locations,
enemy weaknesses, and other secrets to save
you time and respawn.>>This week in
backward compatibility, we’re all about the gaming binge. Crackdown 2 has been launched on backward compatibility
and is free to download. There’s more orbs to collect
and more destruction to solve. [MUSIC]>>Castlevania: Harmony of Despair is now available in
backward compatibility. This is the fifth Castlevania game in the series to hit
backward compatibility on Xbox. So now is a great time to add franchise replay
to your weekend plans. True fans of Tom Clancy’s The
Division 2 will want to get their hands on this very special Dark Zone
definitive collector’s edition. This box includes
a gold edition steel book, plus the year one pass, a CD of selected tracks
from the game soundtrack, the art of Tom Clancy’s
The Division 2 featuring development art
from the game, a map of Washington, D. C., and this amazingly detailed
Heather Ward statue. You can pre-order yours when you purchase the game on
the Microsoft Store. The Division 2 is launching
everywhere March 15th. That’s all for this week, follow us on YouTube and Mixer
to keep up-to-date on the show, and check back next Thursday
for an all new episode. Thanks for watching. [MUSIC] [XBOX SOUND]
